We are looking for a tech-savvy Community Specialist to be the voice of our brand and the bridge between the company and its community. The Community Specialist will be responsible for aligning all communications, social media, PR, events, and marketing content across all channels and platforms to create a strong brand presence. You will be the first point of contact for fans and followers alike, thus developing an intimate relationship with our community.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a deep passion and understanding for social media and other forms of communication platforms, stay up to date with the new developments and opportunities of those platforms, and optimize them to reach out and grow our community. You must be a strategic thinker and a 'people person' with great customer service skills and have the ability to moderate online and offline conversations with our community.
Develop engaging and creative content with the goal to nurture and grow Dropee’s retailer and supplier community.
Collect testimonials from communities in written and video forms with the aim to increase the value of Dropee’s branding.
Collaborate with the Campaigns & Promotions team to strategise production workflows on launching campaigns across various categories (Drinks & Beverage, Confectionery, Snacks, etc.)
Manage communications and content across all online platforms - from emails to social media channels.
Define and standardise communications to engage and grow the community - both online and offline channels.
Devise and implement community initiatives such as online and/or offline events, workshops, and webinars to build and boost brand awareness and loyalty within our community.
Work with the Marketing Manager to establish platform objectives and strategies to align with marketing goals.
Develop and implement communication plans for the respective platforms based on different types of content such as suppliers' campaigns, company's products, and services and community initiatives.
Manage and engage with our online community and respond to comments in a timely and professional manner.
Analyze community behavior such as comments, content engagement, and relevant metrics, and relay to internal stakeholders.
Define, track, and analyse the performance of the engagement channels with a clear definitive conversion goal.
Coordinate with other Marketing teams to ensure objectives and content materials are aligned and being delivered accordingly.
Liaise with other departments to stay updated on new marketing initiatives, product and service developments, and to ensure brand consistency.
Perform other duties as required.
At least 2 years of working experience in social media management or a related field i.e. e-commerce and/or retail industry is required for this position.
Experience in planning and managing community initiatives i.e. building and growing an online forum, launching an ambassador program, and creating a series of events.
Entrepreneurial attitude & a willingness to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
Keep up-to-date on industry developments & trends; be able to apply logical thinking in analyzing problems and proposing corresponding solutions.
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills.
Fluency in English plus an additional language (i.e. either Malay / Mandarin / Cantonese language skills) are a must-have.
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and able to think creatively and critically.
Hands-on experience and knowledge of managing Facebook, Instagram, Google Business, LinkedIn, YouTube, WhatsApp, and SMS.
Possess analytical skills to identify and interpret relevant information and metrics to develop data-driven communications strategies.
Basic knowledge of designing and editing tools and software i.e. Canva, Snappa, Photopea, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
